Japanese want Serbian food
The large Japanese market with 127 million people is interested in import of Serbian products such as dry fruit, fruit juices, wine, furniture, apparel and leather, said JICA (Japanese International Cooperation Agency) expert Gaku Funabashi in Cacak.
In his talks with local government representatives, he said that Japan was particularly interested to import healthy food. Our customers either decide to buy quality products at lower prices or expensive brands”, Funabashi said and warned that one should pay a special attention to a specific Japanese market. A small printing error on a packaging is enough to create a customer’s distrust.
Loosing confidence in a company will cause damage to other companies coming from the same country, said Funabashi. The presentation in Cacak was organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce’s Board for international economic relations and JICA.
