Attack On Serb Returnees In The Hamlet Of Ljug In Istok
At the time of the attack there were ten people in the collective house who are waiting for completion of their houses in the hamlet of Ljug. Luckily, no one was hurt during the attack. The bullets hit the walls and roof of the house, states the written communique.
According to Vulic this is just one more in a series of provocative attacks on the hamlet of Ljug, which is under construction for Serb returnees. Obviously the goal of the attackers is to frighten the Serbs to discourage them from building their new homes here.
Two days ago unknown perpetrators cut out and stole the electrical installation of one of the houses, and then they hoisted an Albanian flag on another house, also under construction. These incidents have been reported to the Kosovo Police Service and the perpetrators are being sought.
